Sakura at Daichi-ji in Kizu

The beginning of April is one of my favorite times of the year to ride, especially in Japan as the cherry blossoms (Sakura) can be seen almost everywhere.  While out on a ride early last month, I happened across another small temple called Daichi-ji, which is located in Kizu, Kyoto prefecture, just over the border from Nara.  I was riding along the river trail that runs from Nara to Kyoto city when I happened to spot a bunch of sakura trees next to an old bell tower. I left the trail for a bit, and here is what I found.
