Ride to Ikaruga

I was planning to post this past weekends ride today, but I still have many photos to edit so I decided to post this instead. These photos are from a ride I went on this past summer with KCDC to Ikaruga in Nara Prefecture. This area is well known for Hōryū-ji, a temple that happens to be home to the world's oldest wooden building.  Rather than going there however, we decided to just ride around Ikaruga and check out the area a bit.
